Corix Utilities

Corix is an experienced public utility owner and operator with expertise in the area of water, wastewater and energy utility operations and measurement services for municipal and utility customers.

Together with Bordeaux Developments, Corix will form a utility partnership to provide quality infrastructure and ongoing operations in Harmony including the design, construction and long-term operation of water and wastewater infrastructure. Initially, they will treat all of the potable water and sewage on-site and will use the treated wastewater to irrigate the golf course and its buffer area, as well as other non-contact applications.

Mount Royal University

With a history spanning a century, Calgary’s Mount Royal University (MRU) has earned a reputation for offering distinguished, multidisciplinary programs, including the University’s Conservatory, which is renowned for its full slate of holistic performing arts courses that have nurtured the artistic and creative potential of generations of students.

Currently, MRU is considering hosting select conservatory programs in Harmony, such as childhood music and speech lessons, as well as select first year courses for students living in the area and a continuing education curriculum that would target local industry. Hosting classes in Harmony will reduce travel requirements – and the environmental impact of such travel – for local students who wish to learn from an established institution.
